Platform Fallback for Broadcast

Need to send a message to all in-house guests notifying them of happy hour in the lobby, or maybe one of the elevators isn’t working, but not all of your guests have provided their phone numbers? We now support platform fallback so you can send your message via email if the guest doesn’t have a phone number, or WhatsApp if they’re international.

If you have Airbnb installed in your Akia account, you will see Airbnb as an optional platform for broadcasting!

Broadcast Recipient History

Sometimes it’s hard to remember who your team has already broadcasted to so we’ve added another panel to the broadcast history to see the guest’s names and their contact information. That way, your team can more easily understand who you still need to broadcast to vs who you’ve already notified.

Report Filtering

Want to do more in-depth report filtering? Hover over the column name and if the column is filterable, Akia will show a pop-up where you can select which values you want to see on the report.

 

Note: Filters are not saved, so refreshing the page will revert them, and other users will not see the filters you set.

Other Updates

  • New reservation widget shows reservations vertically (previously you had to click the → to view the guest’s other reservations)
  • New condition In-House (useful for only showing Mini App components to in-house guests with display rules)
    • This is the same logic as the In-House records filter where the condition would apply to arriving, on property, and departing guests.
  • Show the parent reservation in reservation card widget for secondary reservations, making it easier to toggle between the secondary and main guest
  • Optionally require the guest to pass ID verification prior to being able to submit the Mini App with Verify Before Submission in the ID Verification component

  • When early check-in/late checkout is approved, automatically set the guest’s ETA and ETD in Akia to the specified time
