In your Mini Apps, you may add a PCI-compliant credit card component for the guest to securely provide their credit card information. You will only have access to their card data for 7 days after they provide it and then it will be destroyed. This component is an additional monthly cost if you choose to use it. When a guest completes the Mini App and has provided a credit card, you will see a special activity will render under the guest's profile which will allow you to retrieve the credit card securely.
Due to the sensitivity of credit card data, there are some strict rules on how Akia can safely and securely store that data.
It is important to note that once a credit card has been provided by the guest, the credit card data is encrypted and stored securely in Akia until the credit card data is decrypted and revealed for the first time. Additionally, if credit card data hasn't been revealed, it will expire after 7 days and no longer be stored in Akia. Once credit card data has been revealed or has expired, it is immediately destroyed and you (or Akia) will not have access to it.
