Customize the look of your Mini Apps and email templates

What Is Branding?

You can update the appearance of your Mini Apps to be customized to your property’s branding. This includes the text color and font, button color, and background color of your Mini Apps.

 

How Do I Customize My Branding?

  1. In Settings, you’ll find Branding under the Property category
  1. You can configure your text and color preferences here based on your property, along with your logo alignment.
      • Your logo can be uploaded in the Hotel Config section.
  1. Click Save Changes and your Mini Apps’ formatting will be automatically updated

Fonts

We support Google fonts for customized branding, and you can browse the available fonts and their appearances here:

In the Branding section, you’ll be able to choose from different font sizes and weights/thicknesses (depending on what is supported by Google Fonts). You are also able to choose your text color and header alignment if desired.

 

Colors

Choose colors for your buttons, button text (label), background, and hyperlinks when they appear in your Mini Apps. Remember that if your button color and button text color are the same, the guest will be unable to see what they are clicking on!

Akia Tip: You can choose your exact brand color by RGB, HSL, or Hex code.
 

Logo

You can upload your logo under Hotel Config and choose whether you want it to be left or center aligned in Branding:

Scroll down on the

If you want to remove your logo completely, we would recommend uploading a small photo of your background color since you’re unable to completely remove an image if you’ve already uploaded one.

 

How Do I Make My Logo Larger in My…?

Logo too small on the top of your Mini Apps? Try these workarounds to make it larger.

Agreements

In the first line of your Agreement body, use the following line to paste your logo:

Make sure you add the ! or else the image won’t show! This is also the way you can add images mid-agreement.

Note that this image is left aligned and your original logo will still be visible at the top unless you remove it under Hotel Config:

Booklets

Instead of starting with the title, add your logo as an image component to the top of the Booklet:

Click on the six dots to the left of the text box in a Booklet and select Media > Image to add a larger logo.

Use Cases

  1. 🔎 Text Too Small: Many guests have notified you that they are having trouble reading the text in your Mini Apps and are asking for assistance.
      • Change the size for the regular text to a larger size and consider a different font style/color to make it easier to read.
  1. 🎨 Custom Logo per Unit: Maybe each unit has its own logo and you don’t want to upload a single logo to your Hotel’s Config page but add a custom logo to each Mini App.
      • Take advantage of custom attributes to get a dynamic token and paste the token in the Agreement in between the parenthesis or select Dynamically resolve image from token in the Booklet.
