Enabling StayNTouch integration
- Contact your StayNTouch account representative and ask them to enable the Akia integration
- StayNTouch will provide your API credential and hotel ID to your Akia Customer Success Representative once you’ve signed off on the integration
- Once StayNTouch is connected, Akia will receive newly booked or updated reservations into the system.
Retrieve Existing Reservations
To import future reservations into Akia which have not yet been updated, you can provide a CSV file to your Customer Success Representative or our support team via the Support Chat or at help@akia.com.
Please follow the steps in this StayNTouch article to generate this CSV file: 
Custom Exports
The fields in the report should be as follows:
- first name
- last name
- phone number
- stay dates
- reservation status
- confirmation number
- reservation_id
- room number
- room type
- rate code
- booking source
- number of adults
- number of children
- group name
- reservation type
- market segment code
- vip status
Enable Pre-Check In
Akia can pre-check guests in to StayNTouch, but please make sure this feature is enabled in your StayNTouch account.
- Navigate to the Guest Mobility section in your settings
- Select Guest Checkin Setup and toggle on Pre-Check In Only
Push Back Orders to StayNTouch
When a guest orders an item from a collection in Akia, we can send back that order to the StayNTouch folio with the respective SNT charge code.
Add the corresponding StayNTouch charge code ID to the content ID field for the Mini App collection item:
Set up a trigger on order accepted/completed/created to push the order back to StayNTouch:
Upon the order being accepted, Akia will push the collection item (e.g. Chocolates) with the total value amount (item price x quantity purchased) with the designated SNT charge code back to StayNTouch. Taxes and fees added to the item during checkout are not pushed back, those can be configured directly in StayNTouch (to match your taxes and fees setup in Akia) based on the charge code configuration.
