Akia will be having a scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, January 6th beginning 10 pm PST (1 am Eastern) and it is expected to last 30 minutes. Akia will be inaccessible during the maintenance period (10 pm - 10:30 pm) and may be slow to load for a few hours afterward.
How long is the maintenance expected to last?
We expect the maintenance to last up to 30 minutes where Akia will be inaccessible from the browser or mobile app. After the maintenance period, Akia may load slowly for the following hours but continue to return to regular speeds.
What if a guests text during the maintenance period? Will we still receive it?
Guests can still text you during the maintenance period, and Akia will show the new message in your inbox when service returns. There should be no missing texts in the inbox.
Will my Mini Apps be accessible during this time?
No, during the maintenance period all Mini Apps (completed, incomplete, arrival guides, etc) will be inaccessible. After the maintenance period the Mini Apps will be accessible again.
If I get a new reservation during this period, will Akia have it?
Yes, Akia will still be connected to your PMS to receive new reservations and updates made during our maintenance period.
Will my scheduled messages still go out?
Scheduled messages will still be sent to guests during the maintenance period.
Will my automated replies/AI Agent replies still go out?
If a guest messages you during the maintenance period, any automated reply (including AI Agent or out of office messages) will be automatically sent to the guest.
What happens if a guest calls my number during this time?
Calls during the maintenance period will be handled like they currently are (e.g. forwarded to an external line or the missed call-to-text will be sent out).
