Add Guest to Existing Reservation

Find yourself with guests wanting to add accompanying guests to their reservation? You can now click the + Create button in the Reservations widget on the right hand side of the inbox and select Add To Existing Reservation. This will create a sub-reservation on the new guest’s profile that syncs based on what information we get for the main guest (Jane Doe).

Akia Keycode First Used

If you use Akia’s Device Hub, use this trigger to notify your team, check the guest in to their PMS, or send a message to the guest when the guest first uses their keycode.

 

⚠️ If you have multiple devices a guest’s code can be used on, this trigger will fire when the code was first used on any of the applicable devices. You cannot filter which door triggers this touchpoint.

Other Updates

  • Room Number and Room Type conditions now have a dropdown of the available rooms we currently have from your PMS for easier selection
    • The dropdown contains all of the units we have received from your PMS, if you have a new unit or are a new customer, we would need to sync a reservation for that unit in order for us to receive the unit name and type
 

Integration Updates

Property Management Systems

  • Optionally update the guest’s phone number and email in Clock
  • Optionally send back Mini App submission to Escapia
  • Automatically receive unit tags and instructions from OwnerRez
  • Process travel agent, campaign name, and unit’s short name from Track with customer.track_travel_agent__a, customer.track_campaign__a, and customer.track_short_name__a respectively
  • Process guest’s address from WebRezPro
 

Messaging

  • No longer shorten links sent on the Airbnb platform
  • Display the correct sender name on the Airbnb platform - you’ll see if an accompanying guest messaged in compared to all messages sent from the “guest”
 

Fixes & Improvements

Automations

  • Use email.unsub_link in your HTML email templates to allow guests to unsubscribe from your transactional emails
  • Fixed not sending an email template during message fallback and defaulting to “use same message as text”
 

Inbox & Reservations

  • Updated Dialer behavior with routing call to a department - Akia rings a single user in the department before proceeding with unanswered call escalation (if applicable)
  • Support drag and drop for files from your desktop into the inbox message composer
  • Fixed smart tags not showing up under the guest's profile
 

Team Communication & Analytics

  • More task-specific message tokens, task.office_name, task.assigned_to_user, task.stage
  • Fixed combining task title and description for Akia-created tasks
 

Misc

  • Multi-line custom fields are expandable, click and hold the // in the bottom right hand corner to expand
  • Fixed cumulative campaign stats in the Marketing tab not ignoring archived campaigns
