Condition Based on of Number of Nights/Stays
Want to encourage guests to stay again, and give a VIP experience to those who do? Use the new conditions Number of Nights Stayed and Number of Past Stays in your automated touchpoints or Mini Apps to send out different messaging to returning guests.
Number of Nights Stayed: Akia counts the number of nights the guest has stayed over past (non-canceled) reservations on the platform.
Number of Past Stays: Akia counts the number of past (non-canceled) reservations the guest has made on the platform.
💬 Akia tracks these numbers based on the reservation data we get from your PMS. If your PMS does not share past reservation history with Akia, we will only begin calculating these numbers from your integration date going forward.

Team Chat Unread and Snooze
Need to be reminded of an important message in a team/task chat? Mark it unread or snooze until a specified time.
Unread: The chat will appear in the inbox with a red dot, clicking on the team chat again will clear the red dot
Snooze: The chat will reopen at the time you specify, regardless if more messages come in and you've read them (e.g. You snooze the chat at 12 pm until 4 pm, even if you read the chat at 3:30 pm, you'll still be notified at 4 pm).

Other Updates
- Add descriptions to room upgrades to show guests the benefits of upgrading to a new room (e.g. bathtub rather than a shower, more space in the room, higher floor, free breakfast).
- Follow-up SMS supported for email marketing campaigns. Think of this like an abandoned cart notification where you can trigger a SMS message to be sent to the guest if they have opened or clicked your email.
- New dropdown option in the Mini App - Languages! Have guests select their preferred language within the Mini App, without having to manually type out the different languages you want them to choose from.
- Select which languages guests should choose from (e.g. English and French) so the guest only sees those options when they complete the Mini App.
